The Process
Underfloor heating installation is carried out by first preparing and insulating the subfloor to ensure maximum efficiency covering up to 100% of cold spot areas.
The heating system is then carefully laid, tested, and securely fixed in position before being encapsulated within a screed or levelling compound.
Once fully cured, the chosen floor finish is installed, resulting in a seamless, heating solution integrated beneath a high-quality finished floor to ensure maximum heat efficiency.

Stage 1
Demolition & Subfloor Preparation
Removal of existing floor finishes, adhesives, and residues, followed by inspection, repair, and mechanical preparation of the subfloor to achieve correct levels, cleanliness, and structural integrity.
Stage 2
Thermal Insulation Installation
Installation of rigid thermal insulation boards, securely fixed and tightly jointed, to minimise downward heat loss, cold spot areas and comply with thermal performance requirements.

Stage 3
Baseboard / Substrate Installation
Installation of new baseboards or overlay substrate panels, mechanically fixed or bonded as specified, providing a flat, load-bearing surface suitable for underfloor heating integration.
Stage 4
Underfloor Heating System Installation
Installation of the underfloor heating system (hydronic pipework or electric heating elements), laid to design spacing, pressure-tested (where applicable), and secured in accordance with manufacturer and project specifications.

Final Stage
Final Floor Finish Installation
Installation of the specified floor finish over the underfloor heating system, including appropriate adhesives, expansion allowances, and commissioning procedures to ensure performance and longevity.
